fires and flowers offers us the space to play with conflict as a pathway to liberation in south asian cultural contexts. This training seeks to make space for this necessary conversation about using our voices, leaning into grief and loss, and composting the privilege of silence. In this ninety-minute session, we will cover content from Spring Up’s toolbox on consent and generative conflict. Gayatri will offer their cultural framings of these concepts and support participants’ in filling in their own experiences of these concepts. We will share stories and curiosities about how generative conflict can be central to the work of liberation.
